Like the Indonesian proverb “Tak Kenal Maka Tak Sayang!” So in this video, we will get to know more about one of the resource assessment methods, areal estimates or power density. We will discuss the definition, history, and how this method works in a simple way
The estimation of geothermal resources assessment using the power density method is quite tricky. We must do the initial estimation correctly and choose an effective approach. Are you curious? watch the video till the end.
JIWA Power Density, developed by AILIMA are intended for geophysicists, geochemists, geologists, and reservoir engineers to estimate geothermal resources.
In this subject, you'll have opportunity to simulate this software and bring your knowledge and skills in resource assessment.
In this video, we would operate JIWA Power Density live using data referenced from a geothermal prospect in Hawthorne area, Nevada, USA.
Hawthorne area is located in Basin and Range province, western USA, which was first discovered due to the existence of anomalously warm-water wells. Further research revealed the prospect categorized as a blind geothermal system. This research includes various acquisitions and related manifestation data analysis - also geothermal wells show that there are two kinds of geothermal prospects within this area. In this demonstration, we would focus on the deep geothermal prospect.

JIWA Volumetric, developed by AILIMA that implements the volumetric method. This tool is designed to give you an analytic for fast processing from input, processing, to the integration of reservoir parameters and others to estimate the resource potential of a geothermal field.
In this subject, you'll have opportunity to simulate this software and bring your knowledge and skills in resource assessment.
In this video, we would operate JIWA Volumetric live using data referenced from a geothermal prospect in Java, Indonesia.
The Awibengkok geothermal field, also known as Salak, is located 60 km south of Jakarta, Java Island, Indonesia. This area lies in highland on the southwestern flank of the Gunung Salak volcano, exactly at 2211 m above sea level. This geothermal reservoir is the biggest geothermal power producer in Indonesia and fourth biggest amongst other liquid-dominated fields. The proven reservoir area from this field is 18 km2, including 377 Mwe installed capacity and power density around 20 MWe/km2.

Konsep sumber daya dalam energi panas bumi;
Berbagai metode penilaian sumber daya yang ada dan penerapannya di industri;
Estimasi sumber daya menggunakan metode Power Density dan Volumetric;
Properti batuan dalam penilaian sumber daya panas bumi;
Tipe Distribusi Probabilistik Monte Carlo;
