This course is for middle and high school students in the traditional Geometry course. Topics for the Semester 2 Course include: Trigonometry, The Sine Function, The Cosine Function, The Tangent Function, The Law of Sines, The Law of Cosines, Special Right Triangles, 30/60/90 Triangle, 45/45/90 Triangle, Volume, Volume of Prisms, Volume of Square and Rectangular Prisms and Slant Prisms, Volume of Triangular Prisms and Slant Prisms, Volume of Cylinders & Slant Cylinders, Volume of Hexagonal Prisms and Slant Hexagonal Prisms, Volume of Pyramids and Cones and Slant Pyramids and Cones, Volume of Spheres, Probability, Conditional Probability, Permutations, Combinations, Counting Problems, Arcs by Radius, Arcs by Chords, Secants, Tangents, Chords, Surface Area of Square and Rectangular Prisms, Surface Area of Triangle Prisms, Surface Area of Cylinders Surface Area of Pyramids and Cones and Spheres, Introduction to Conic Sections, and More. These topics are covered in instructional videos on how to solve the most commonly given problems. This course is primarily made for students who struggle with math in middle and high school. Necessary materials for the course are a standard calculator (a phone app is fine too), writing instrument and paper or composition book. In addition to videos are provided PDF’s on all problems presented and a PDF on Geometry vocabulary covering 400+ of the most common Geometry vocabulary words. These are the same lessons I have used with my Geometry students since 2001.
