Geometry is a critical topic for entrance examinations around the world and in India, including GRE, GMAT, CAT, and other B-School entrances, Bank PO, SSC and many others. While it looks like a complicated topic, some important rules, shortcuts, tricks, and a lucid way of looking at questions will help students appearing for graduate and post-graduate entrance examinations to score a lot of marks from this topic
In this course I have covered the following in detail
• Lines , Angles
•Polygons
•Triangles: Basic Properties, Types of triangles, Basic proportionality theorem, similarity and congruency of triangles, Points of concurrence like Orthocenter, Centroid, Incenter, Circumcenter and other important concepts
•Quadrilaterals: Quadrilateral, Cyclic Quadrilateral, Trapezium/Trapezoid , Parallelogram, Rhombus, Rectangle and Square.
•Circles, semi-circle and sectors
•Mensuration: Two-dimensional figures like Triangles, Quadrilaterals, Circles and three-dimensional figures like Cube, Cuboid,
Cylinder, Cone, Sphere, hemisphere
I have discussed good number of practice questions covering all the above concepts. Wherever possible I have discussed alternate methods/ shortcuts,
To get the maximum benefit out of this course, a student should
(i)First go through the concept review video(even if you feel that you are comfortable with the concept)
(ii)Then come to the Practice questions. Here I suggest that for every question, you pause the video, read the question carefully and attempt the question. After that you can continue watching the video.
