Description

Hi, friends. I'm Evan. I hold half a dozen certification from GCP including Professional Cloud Security Engineer, which I got in 2018 as a beta exam. I passed on my first try and attained series number 74 for the PCSE.  That means I've successfully re-certified 3 times...so I have some experience with the PCSE and other professional level Google Cloud exams.

I've put together some sample questions from all domains of the test using scenarios similar to what you will find on the actual test.  Great care has been put in to coming up with practical questions that let you troubleshoot, versus having you just match a memorized concept with the right product name in the answer options.  Broadly, these exams are not tricky.  If you find you are confused, I give an explanation for each question explaining why the correct answer is right, and why the other options do not work.  I will also put the scenario and question into the proper context, and call out any handy things to remember or any "gotchas" that might be present.

The PCSE exam demands a high level of technical knowledge and attention to detail, and I've done my best to prepare you for this while keeping a similar format to the real exam.  These practice exams are harder and more detailed than the actual exam, so you should not judge yourself too harshly on performance.  The goal here is to not only prepare you technically and identify knowledge/domain gaps...but to get you in the right mindset to take the real exam.

I hope you're able to use this to find out any areas where you might have gaps on concepts/knowledge, affirm that you know how all the pieces work together, then brush up and help get prepared to take the PCSE exam.  Good luck!
