We learn how to create all the menu and a saving/loading system for our game.
We learn the enemy theory for games and how to create three types of our own enemies with a simple artificial intelligence.
We learn how to tell a story and how to implement a narrative in our game.
We learn how to create new levels and how to move between levels.
We learn the theory of bosses in videogames and how to make a two phase boss fight for our game.
To finish, we optimize and export our game, create an installer for it, distribute it online and learn the basics of game marketing.
Transform your passion in a job of the future and become a game developer. During this Game Designer Course, you will be instructed on how to develop your own videogame without any previous knowledge of coding and by starting from scratch, in a mix of 15 theoretical and practical lectures. Basically, you will soon become a game designer. By starting from zero and from the very basics, we will develop a 2D videogame together, by discovering all techniques and secrets that are behind this kind of work (graphics, story, musics, coding) and how to use them to create our product and to distribute it on the international market.
During this Game Designer Course you will develop a real 2D platform game, in a way that you will have clear all the basics of graphics, animation, sounds, musics, coding, writing of the story, and of all the documents that are needed to present your final work to the public and to game companies/game publishers. At the end of the course, you will publish your first videogame and you will have all the knowledge to improve it or to develop new games.
