I will teach you 20 easy phrases that can be use in any order (like a Pick and mix) to make up a great solo. The course can be used by soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxophone and I will teach you the 5 note scale called a pentatonic scale, and show you how to incorporate it in with the phrases you have mastered to make you sound like a pro. Finale I will demonstrate a great solo and give you a chance to "Go solo" with a play-along video. There is a professionally recorded backing track that can be down loaded, and a pdf document with all the phrases in ready to print out if needed. This backing track is based on the famous sax tune "Phone it in" from the game Fortnite, if you go to my sax school and join the members area, you will show you step by step how to play all the notes for this tune and be able to download the written music for this tune. The videos have music captions and fingerings to help find the notes, and there is advise on all aspects of making your sax sound really funky and cool.

Who this course is for:

  • For the best results students must have a good working knowledge of the instrument, but need some inspiration when trying to improvise.
