Fundamental Color Mixing for Painters

This lecture introduces methods of varying the value of a specific color. Tinting and shading are the straightforward ways of changing value, but unwanted hue shift may occur.  The lecture provides mixing recipes for varying the value of a color without a significant hue shifting.  A value mixing exercise called "Color Scale" has been demonstrated, and it is recommended to students to practice the given color mixing recipes.
