Description

FTK Imager for Digital Forensics: Practical Investigation is a hands-on course designed to help you understand digital forensics and learn how to examine digital evidence using FTK Imager.

In this course, you'll start by learning the fundamentals of FTK Imager, including how to install the tool and understand its interface. We'll then set up a digital forensics lab using a USB drive and sample evidence files for our practical exercises.

You'll learn how to add and examine physical drives, create forensic disk images, and verify their integrity using hash values. We'll also explore how to identify deleted file entries, investigate available deleted evidence, capture memory from a running system, and mount forensic images to access their contents.

Throughout the course, you'll follow practical, step-by-step demonstrations to understand how these features work and how they can be used during digital forensics investigations. The focus is on learning by doing, so you can follow along and practise the techniques on your own system.

This course is suitable for beginners, cybersecurity students, ethical hackers, penetration testers, and IT professionals who want to explore digital forensics. No previous experience with FTK Imager is required. Basic computer knowledge, a Windows computer, and a separate USB drive for practical exercises are recommended.

We'll continue expanding the course with additional digital forensics topics, techniques, and hands-on demonstrations as we progress, giving you more opportunities to explore practical digital investigations.
