  • Inspiration1:25

There are three major resources for information.

    • Dribbble

    • Behance

    • Pinterest

Do not use these resources only as a source of inspiration. Try to look at them as solutions to a problem someone else has already solved and try to learn from it.

  • Tools1:10

There are many tools on the market which allows you to create interfaces. It comes down to your personal preference which tool you choose. In this course we will be working with Adobe Xd. Adobe Xd can be used on both Windows and MAC platforms. Remember that these are just tools and might change in the future. The Tool does not make a good designer, his/her skills do. Once you are comfortable with one tool and understand the logic behind it you will most likely learn any other tool very easily.

  • Future0:58

Interface design is the profession of the future. As all devices are getting digitised slowly and surely we see screens with interfaces everywhere. Computers, phones, watches, car dashboards, virtual or augmented reality glasses. More and more of traditional devices are getting interfaces: fridges, microwaves, cookers, washing machines, scales, heating, air-condition, cafe machines and so on. Opportunities are endless. Professions such are UI/UX Designer, Product Designer, Interface Designer, Application designer will be in high demand going forward.

  • Benefits1:47

This profession is Creative & Analytical. Every day is different. Every day you will be working on a different part of an application or on a different application altogether. One day you might be wire-framing a new mobile application next day you might be designing user interface for TV app. You will have an impact on people and businesses. Your work might be used by thousands or even millions of people. Long-term job security. The world is becoming more and more digital application interfaces will be used in most devices we know and even the one we don’t know yet.
