Before we proceed, let me emphasize the importance of authenticity. It's imperative to only share genuine certifications and refrain from using fake documents. Integrity is key to building a reputable online presence.

To do so, navigate to your LinkedIn profile and select 'Add Profile Section', followed by 'Licenses and Certifications'. Enter the details of your certification, including the issuing authority, start and end dates, and any relevant credentials or URLs.

In this comprehensive video, we'll delve into the crucial aspect of conducting research to gain insights into job market dynamics, particularly focusing on salary benchmarks. Understanding the average salary for your desired role in specific locations is essential for informed decision-making.
To begin, let's explore how to research salary ranges effectively. First, head over to your preferred search engine, such as Google. For instance, if you're interested in the average salary for graphic designers in Dubai, simply type 'What is the average salary of a graphic designer in Dubai?' into the search bar.
You'll find various reliable sources providing salary data. Upon conducting the search, websites like indeed often offer comprehensive salary insights. For instance, the average salary for a graphic designer in Dubai ranges from 2,000 to 26,000 dirhams per month, with an average of 15,000 dirhams. This figure varies based on experience levels, with seasoned professionals commanding higher salaries.
Next, let's consider the salary landscape for remote graphic designers in the USA. The average annual salary is approximately $70,000, translating to around $5,800 per month before taxes. However, it's crucial to account for tax deductions, which may result in a net monthly salary of around $4,000. Similarly,
for graphic designers in Delhi, India, the average monthly salary is approximately 50,000 Indian rupees.
This provides valuable context for negotiating salaries and discussing compensation expectations with potential employers. When discussing salary expectations during interviews or negotiations, it's important to approach the conversation with tact and professionalism.
You can leverage your research findings to justify your desired salary range, ensuring it aligns with industry standards and your level of expertise. Hello and welcome to Module 4 of our Job Searching Course.
In this lesson, we'll delve into the essential process of checking the domain age of companies, a crucial step in assessing their credibility and longevity.
Firstly, let's explore how to check the domain age of a company listed on LinkedIn. Navigate to the job section on LinkedIn job portal, and select the desired job listing. Once on the company's page, take note of whether a website is provided. If not, this may raise some initial concerns about the company's online presence.
Next, we'll utilize a tool called whois, a website that provides detailed information about domain registrations. Simply copy the URL of the company's website (if available) and paste it into the search bar on whois. Upon searching, you'll receive valuable insights into the domain's age, registration, and expiration dates.
For example, a domain registered in 1998 indicates a well-established online presence. Additionally, it's worth conducting a broader search using search engines like Google to uncover additional details about the company's history.
By searching for the company's launch date and digital presence, you can gain a deeper understanding of its establishment and evolution over time. For more comprehensive company insights, platforms like Crunchbase offer valuable data on company rankings, funding, and employee details.
While a premium account unlocks additional features, you can still access essential information about the company's founding year, headquarters, and contact details.
