Embark on a journey of self-discovery and inner transformation with Kabir, a 15th-century poet and mystic from India. His teachings, characterized by their simplicity and directness, use everyday imagery and language to convey profound truths.
In this series of courses, we are exploring the depth and beauty of Kabir's poetry and uncovering the wisdom hidden within it through contemplative practices.
This is the second course of the series and builds upon the first.
Kabir was deeply affected by fundamentalism and foolish dogmas practised in the name of Religion/ tradition or customs.
He stated that every individual has an equal right to the Truth/ Self/ Fulfilment or God, regardless of their background.
In this course, we will focus on poems where Kabir questions these practices thus urging us to come out of biases and falsities of our own.
Each session will focus on a Doha, or couplet, that encapsulates Kabir's philosophy and wisdom.
This course has 6 sessions, and you can choose to complete them all in one go or take your time to work through them. While it is recommended to complete the first course before embarking on this one, it is not absolutely necessary.
Whether you are a returning participant or joining us for the first time, you will gain new insights and tools to live a more conscious and fulfilled life. So come join us on this journey of self-discovery and experience the joy within.
