    A frame drum is a drum that has a drumhead width greater than it's depth, that is held by the hands or rested on the lap.
    The frame drum is one of the most ancient musical instruments, and was first seen played by women in cultures worldwide, during ceremony, sacred practices, and as a means of powerful connection.
