Discover the historical, psychological and cross-cultural impacts of traditions and practices built on a belief in paranormal phenomena, in relation to traditional notions of religious behaviour. Participants in this lecture series will develop an understanding of some of the oldest forms of human cultural expressions, including witchcraft, magic, and occult experiences. The history behind magic’s role in the scientific revolution will also be explored.
