This lesson describes the two foundation principles that under gird Forward. At the end of the course you will be able to describe both principles and how they apply to Forward.
Now, you begin to reflect on key elements of the uplifting experience you described in the last lesson. By the end, you will have a clear understanding of the people and circumstances involved. You will also be able to describe how you think God or an outside force was involved in your experience.
This lesson wraps up your work on your uplifting experience. It introduces the idea of surrender - you can't control your heart environment or your experiences. It looks at where God or an outside source might be investing in you. It also explores what empowers you to live into the lessons you have learned and what holds you back.
By the end of this lesson, you will have a strong sense of how your present day attitudes, interests, and character traits were instilled and inhanced through your uplifting moments.
This lesson begins the second major exercise and introduces the idea of who you are at your core. Dr. Nybo gives his example. You will have time to think of your own core element and write it in your workbook.
By the end of the lesson, yoy will be able to descirbe the best part of who you are and what makes you tick on your best day.
Now comes the fun part. Why are you five years from now? Not just "pie in the sky" who do you want to be if you had all the money, resources etc. Based on what you have been learning, what is a realistic and desirable picture of you in the future?
