This course will focus on the importance of forgiveness, both for yourself and others. What does forgiveness truly look like and what does it mean? You'll learn why it's important to let go of events and circumstances from your past, and how you can do it. You'll learn how the brain works in this area and some new approaches to letting go of what's been holding you back and making you feel miserable for so long. I'll show you why it's important to create meaning to past events, and how this is crucial to moving forward from the guilt that manifests in our minds and bodies from things that have been done to us in the past or things we feel we've done to ourselves. I'll teach you how to take responsibility for your own happiness, and what that means. We'll dive deeper into guilt and fear, and how each compels us to act in a certain way. PLUS as a bonus, I'll teach you a forgiveness ceremony you can do to help facilitate this new outlook and change in your life.

Let's get started on this journey tackling a new approach, a new way to take on and change the parts of your brain that holds onto things, and how your ability to forgive yourself and others is directly affected by your ability to let go. In this first video, you'll learn the importance of letting things go, why you hold onto thoughts, what you can do about it, and how you can benefit from releasing yourself from holding on to perfectionism. In this module, I explain what happens in the human mind when it comes to the experiences you have in life. We'll talk about feelings, and why they get hurt. We'll debunk of the myth of feeling like we need should have evolved past this; and the importance of embracing our humanity. You'll learn how pain triggers the adrenaline response in your body, and how your mind starts to try and figure out what's going on, and in the process, we end up judging the pain and judging ourselves. We'll dive more into how the brain works to try and combat chaos by creating order, and what this means in relation to self-judgment, and how the end result, is blame. In addition, how blame keeps us holding onto things in our minds. Plus, we'll talk about the 3 steps you need to do when you feel pain.
After a brief recap of the 3 steps you need to do when you feel pain, we talk about the internal struggle when someone says, "don't take it personally". We dive deeper into those 3 steps, how to do them, and how your brain and body respond to help you in the forgiveness process. When the struggles of the past come up, your brain has to make meaning out of them (creating order from chaos). In order to help you heal, I share with you, a way to help give meaning to those events from the past, in a healthy way.
In this video, we'll cover fear and guilt. I talk about the heaviness that comes with holding on to guilt, and focus on the importance of letting go of things from your past that have been holding you back. I share the importance of taking responsibility for your own happiness. You'll learn more about guilt and fear, and how they affect your happiness and your ability to forgive yourself and others. What is fear? What is guilt? How do they manifest, act, and affect your life? Why does our brain hold on to guilt and why does fear compel us to act? All this and more to help you feel knowledgable and empowered to release the present consequences from your past and embrace your future.
