Description
This course is designed to help any dog owner learn how to teach their pet all the basic obedience skills using only force-free, positive reinforcement training methods. It also goes over a variety of trouble-shooting tips for common household bad habits and teaches you fun games to play with your dog to help build impulse control.

Instructor
Kim Mayes is a Knowledge Assessed Certified Professional Dog Trainer, a Professional Trick Dog Instructor, Stunt Dog Judge and a proud member of the Pet Professional Guild which promotes the importance of using force-free methods in training.
Kim is also the owner of Rockin' Dawgs Positive Dog Training facility located in Rockledge, Florida which is the county's only completely force-free indoor training facility and is a published author in the field of dog training and behavior, including her books "Getting Braver: Tricks & Games for Your Fearful Dog" and "Hyper Dog 101: Tricks & Games to Help You Communicate Better with Your Crazy, High-Strung, Wild, Strong-Willed Dog!"
Kim Mayes lives in Brevard County, Florida with her 3 Siberian Huskies, Seppala, Rocket & SuperNova and her Chinese Crested Dog, Loki. Kim has been an animal trainer on Florida's Space Coast for over 20 years and has trained, competed and performed with her own dogs for just as long. Her dogs hold a variety of titles in multiple dog sports and through her amazing efforts, have earned several world records including Seppala being the 1st dog to ever earn the Champion Trick Dog title in the United States and her youngest dog, SuperNova, who became the youngest dog ever to achieve the same title at only 12 weeks of age!
It is Kim's special bond with these silly, hyper, amazing, intelligent strong-willed, loving and often times crazy dogs, and their journey together that has inspired this online course.
