  • Excel design sheets will saves lot of time in designing and help to achieve economical structural design is easy way.
  • Benificial for Btech, Mtech (structure), Architects, Site supervisor, Contractors working in field.
  • Step wise design of building from top slab to beam to column to footings, staircases etc.

Requirements

  • Simple Excel sheets anyone can operate useful for civil engineering design

Description

This is the footing design excel sheet course through which different elements of footing like isolated footing (rectangular and square), PAD footing, Eccentric footing (when column at the edge of the footing) , Combined footing design , Strap beam footing design, Raft footing design ( without beams or with Beam and Slab) etc. are designed through Excel sheets, The students can use these sheets to design these elements in very less time and with accuracy.

The footing design is very time taking job manually , hence these excel sheet will help students that they can check their design through input their values in pink cells given in the sheets. All the design steps are given like analysis and design of these footings.

The Steps are as under:

1. To find the initial sizes like width , length and depth of the footings.

2. Net pressure from below the soil.

3. To find the Shear Force diagram and Bending Moment Diagram and values.

4. To find the Reinforcement ( Main Tensile) and Distribution Steel.

5. To Check on One Way Shear and Two Way Shear Check.

6. To Check Development Length Check.

7. Detailing Diagram of Design.

Therefore, Every students should try to learn manual concept behind the design of footings through these excel sheets and saves lot of their time.

Who this course is for:

  • Civil structural designers, Btech civil, Mtech structures, architects, contractors etc.
