Description
Join my Comprehensive Course on Commercial Fleet Electrification!
Electric trucks are the cornerstone for decarbonising transport and an important part in the overall energy transition. Currently available electric trucks are suitable to replace most diesel operation already today, and future generations are capable to electrify all transport use cases. However, switching to electric trucks can be challenging for shippers, logistics and carriers. Electric fleets require a transformation of the current transport operating model, e.g., planning routes and rest times according to charging needs and locations. If you're interested in learning about commercial fleet electrification, the charging value chain in general and charging solutions suitable for your electrification needs in specific, this course if for you.
This course provides a comprehensive overview of the ecosystem and solutions for fleet electrification. I will give an introduction on the industry, explain the reasons why fleet electrification is gaining traction nowadays, how electric fleets change the user journey and provide the basics on charging infrastructure for truck charging.
I will then focus on the charging value chain, explaining the different players and business models in the charging ecosystem. I will provide a comprehensive overview of the available options to electrify your fleet, and give guidance on how to select the option that is most suitable for you.
Finally, I walk you through the steps to setup charging infrastructure at your depot, as this will be the most common charging scenario.
The objective of this course is provide you with the knowledge and tools on heavy duty charging and fleet electrification, to have meaningful conversations with your stakeholders, substantiate your arguments and generally apply this knowledge to your advantage.
Who this course is for:
- Shippers with the needs to decarbonise their supply chain
- Logistics and Transport
- Commercial Property Owners
- Charging Enthusiasts
Instructor
I am working on the electrification of road freight, focussing on charging infrastructure for heavy-duty vehicles in the US, Europe and Middle-East. My prior experience was with an electric aircraft manufacturer.
I am driven by decarbonisation and pushing industry boundaries. Current battery and charging technology allows electrification of most of today's road freight, and even more with technology improvements over the next couple of years.
I work with all relevant players across the charging value chain (e.g., standard-setting bodies, charging OEMs, support and service partners, infrastructure providers, SW platform providers).
