Born, raised, and currently living in beautiful east Tennessee, I am a husband, father, son, educator, coach, personal trainer, and fitness junkie. I received my BS in physical education in 2007 and my master's in educational leadership in 2015.
While most of my time and energy is spent trying to motivate high school students to live healthier lives, I enjoy helping anyone understand exercise and reach their goals, regardless of their age or health status. It's extremely important to have an understanding for how the body is formed and how to get the most of it through exercise and nutrition. Through my accredited sources, I have attained this knowledge and now I'm ready to share it with you!
I completed my undergraduate degree in 2007 at Carson-Newman University. I began teaching high school physical education and wellness in 2008. I currently hold the position of department head in our physical education department. In 2013, I became a certified personal trainer through International Sport Science Association. While I haven't spent a lot time training clients, I have been able to practice what I've learned with my students and athletes. In 2015 I received my master's in Educational Leadership from Union College.
I'm excited to teach what I've learned, so if there's a course that you are interested in, don't hesitate to enroll and get started.
