Despite their effectiveness, firewalls alone cannot guarantee complete security. They should be used in combination with other cybersecurity measures, such as antivirus software, intrusion detection systems, and strong access controls. Regular updates and maintenance are necessary to keep firewalls effective against evolving cyber threats. Misconfigured firewall rules can create vulnerabilities, allowing attackers to exploit loopholes or bypass security controls. Organizations and individuals must stay informed about best practices in firewall management to ensure robust protection against potential cyber risks.
