Description
The fire service is one of the most difficult professions to enter, and there’s a reason for that. It’s also one of the most honorable and self-sacrificing careers a person can have. For that reason, the competition is extremely tight.
That’s true for paid, and volunteer positions alike. My name is Chief Jeff Rolfe. I’ve been employed in the fire service for a total of 34 years and just retired after spending the last 21 years of my career as a fire chief.
You’re here because you’re interested in learning more about the hiring process, and more likely, to collect information about the firefighter oral board interview. You may have an oral board scheduled, or you may be preparing yourself in advance. In either event, I want to commend you for doing what most applicants don’t, and that’s, prepare for the interview.
Firefighter Code is host to more than 125 videos, the majority of which teach you exactly how to answer the most intimidating questions, along with those, nearly impossible questions to answer, the scenario questions.
This course is designed to remove the mystery from the Firefighter interview process and to allow you to prepare effectively and efficiently for the most important interview you’ll ever take. There’s no debating the fact that you have only one shot at it, you’ll either pass or fail.
Failure for firefighter candidates is not an option and it’s my job to make sure you’re prepared, confident and excited to walk in and meet the oral board panel. Firefighter Code is your tool to stand out like no other candidate and claim your position as Firefighter!
Who this course is for:
- Anyone that wants to become a Firefighter or join the fire service.
Instructor
Hi, I’m Chief Jeff Rolfe. Over my 34 year career in this profession, I’ve worked as a line firefighter, lieutenant, captain, assistant chief, and, for 21 years, I’ve served as and retired as a fire chief in a community in the Midwest.
My experience as a company officer, and later as a chief officer, has afforded me the opportunity to interview and speak with countless candidates directly on oral board panels which has given me the confidence to provide you the advice necessary to assist you in landing a position in what I believe is the greatest of professions, the fire service!
Over the years I recognized that fire service is one of the most difficult professions to enter because we, as chief fire officers, don’t adequately prepare candidates for what they should expect. I began writing this course several years ago and sent it to many of my colleagues across the country who lamented at the lack of preparation that fire department candidates exhibited.
This course represents the culmination of dozens of testimonials that I’ve received. If these testimonials are any indication of this product’s viability, and they are, I know for a fact that if applied properly, the information you receive as a student of Firefighter Code will make a tremendous, positive and measurable difference in your success. I look forward to our journey together!
