Instructor
Aubrey Apolinario is currently a Director of Finance & Accounting at Manulife Investment Management, which is the Asset Management arm of Manulife Financial Corporation (TSX: MFC), a publicly traded Global Financial Institution. Prior to this role, Aubrey Apolinario was the Director of Fund & Asset Management Finance at Manulife Investment Management Private Markets. Total Assets Under Management in the Private Asset classes managed by Manulife Investment Management and its affiliates is approximately $130 billion.
From 2013 to 2017, Aubrey Apolinario was the Director of Financial Reporting at Dream Office REIT (TSX: D.UN), a publicly traded Company which at the time, was the largest pure play office REIT in Canada with approximately $7 billion of assets and over 180 office properties. Primary responsibilities included the preparation and review of the publicly filed Consolidated Financial Statements ("FS") and Management's Discussion & Analysis ("MD&A).
Aubrey Apolinario worked at Ernst & Young LLP (“EY”) from 2005 to 2013, where he obtained his Chartered Accountant designation and was part of the Assurance practice. Aubrey Apolinario graduated with Distinction from the University of Toronto in 2005, while specializing in the Commerce & Finance program.
Aubrey is passionate about teaching others the language of Finance and Accounting, and has direct experience tutoring, teaching and mentoring others.
