Description

Course Overview

All decisions made by an organisation, a manager, or any staff member will ultimately have a financial impact and reflect in the financial performance of the organisation. Let it be a decision about providing a free delivery, allocating a few more hours of labour, working overtime, improving the quality of the materials, or even providing a new small piece of equipment to a staff member; all these have a financial impact. Therefore, a good understanding of the fundamentals of accounting and finance is not only restricted to the people in the specific department; in fact, everyone either taking decisions or participating in the decision-making process should be familiar, at least at the basic level.
