Description
This is course is designed to teach you fundamental skills in the art of ice-skating. Each section demonstrates 4-6 skills to practice and master in the USFSA basic levels. All skills have a step-by-step video demonstration and helpful tips and tricks from an experienced coach. Whether you are looking for a new way to exercise, learn a new hobby, save money on expensive coaching fees, or finally putting those old skates in the closet to good use - this course is for you! Be sure to have a near-by ice arena where you can dedicate a minimum of 30 minutes a week of practice time. You are guaranteed to build confidence, strength, flexibility, tone, and coordination. Instructor
I love to learn! My experiences have taken me around the world living and working in eight different countries including Singapore, Indonesia, Egypt, Ireland, Scotland, Belgium, and France. I attended Brigham Young University - Idaho and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement certificate in French Education K-12. Figure skating has been a hobby of mine for over 20 years. As an adult skater, I passed both my Adult Gold level free skate and Senior Moves in the Field footwork patterns. I have been coaching figure skating for over 15 years and have participated in local shows as well as in-state, and out-of-state competitions.
