Welcome to the masterclass! I wanted to kick start 2025 by empowering you to solo travel this year.

If you’re unsure if you can actually travel solo, I’m here to show you that you can and take you through the solo travel journey to help you feel more equipped and more empowered to do it. In the next hour we’ll be covering mindset, inspiration, and how to travel alone so whatever stage of your solo journey you are at, hopefully I’ll have you covered in this masterclass.

How it’s going to work is that we’ll be walking through the 6 stages of your solo journey. You don't need to take notes (unless you want to) as there's an accompanying PDF to go through each stage in more detail.

    Enjoy the masterclass! Lisa

  • Your Solo Travel Journey2:12

The first part of the solo travel journey is having the mindset to do it which comes under: Solo Travel Empowerment. This is where you want to travel solo but need some extra encouragement to do it.

Then solo inspiration - You’ve now made the decision to do it but don’t know where to start and need some ideas to inspire you or you want to read stories from other solos who have been there before.

Then it’s learning how to do it successfully which covers dealing with culture shock and travel fatigue to dining alone (which a lot of women get anxious about). And staying safe.

Then when you’re feeling confident enough, it’s time to plan your dream trip, what you’re going to do, the best sites to book through and how to actually plan it.

You can make an impact when you travel to, from how to be a conscious traveller and travel better so that you can make a difference on your solo trip.

Then the final stage which is returning back home, which you shouldn’t underestimate and I don’t see many other people covering this but I think it’s an important stage.

  • Solo Travel Empowerment15:08

If you’re asking yourself? Can I really solo travel? Yes! Of course you can! Do you need to be the most confident person in the world? Absolutely not.

There’s a quote that I love that says ‘solo travel isn’t about being alone; it’s about being free to be yourself.”

Why travel solo? It’s not just about navigating your way around the world, it’s about empowering yourself when you hit challenges, self-reflection on those long journeys alone and building your self-worth which ripples into every area of your life when you get back. It’s about freedom and confidence and self-love and taking some time away from others to really get back to you and who you are. Solo travel is full of serendipities - meeting the right people, getting lost and finding a hidden gem, and connecting with people on a deeper level.

But first, you need the confidence and kick start to be able to do it. That's what we cover in this stage.

  • Solo Travel Inspiration5:07

There are so many places out there just waiting to be explored but as a solo traveller you may not feel comfortable going to certain destinations. Some places aren’t that safe and others are more challenging so you may want to leave these until you’re more of a seasoned solo.

This section will give you some inspiration on where to go and give you some solo trip ideas.

  • How To Travel Solo Successfully13:17

This stage covers how to deal with the practical side of solo travel once you’re on the road.

From taking a tour to meeting others. I share the best apps, what to do in the evening when you are alone, and how to stay safe as a solo female traveller.

  • Plan Your Solo Trip7:56

Learn how to plan your solo trip. From deciding where to go to checking visas and vaccinations. I cover planning what to do, deciding where to stay and how to get around. You'll be guided through the stages of planning your trip. The PDF allows you to go into more details when you're ready to book.

  • Make An Impact8:59

Girl about the Globe is for the conscious female traveller but what does that really mean?

Conscious travel is a chance to make a positive impact, whether that’s travelling to an emerging destination that needs our tourism, becoming culturally and environmentally sensitive and ensuring that our Dollars, Pounds and Euros go back into the community of the country that we visit and benefits the local people. In a nutshell, being a conscious traveller means rethinking the way that we travel and interact with the world. And becoming a better traveller. I cover all in this section.

  • Returning Home4:19

This is such an important point that not many solo travellers seem to talk about.

It is scientifically proven that when you return home the euphoria that you felt wears off as your brain is working less. There’s no need for it to soak in your environment or a new language because it’s already been learned and it’s all so familiar to your brain. You already know the culture so your brain doesn’t have to learn new material.  This is when you can start to feel low and question yourself. It doesn't happen all the time but I share tips for the holiday blues and how to feel better when you return home.

Description

Want to solo travel in 2025 but are unsure how?

I know how overwhelming it can be to even make the decision to go solo. You may be seeing others do it and want to do it but are unsure if it is really for you, or if you are capable of doing it. I’m here to tell you that yes you are and that if I can travel to 119 countries solo then anyone can. It just takes a bit of preparation and the right mindset to do it.

I’ve created 6 steps of the solo travel journey and this masterclass guides you through every step of the solo travel journey.

The course is an hour long and is broken into bite-sized chunks for each stage. We’ll be covering mindset, solo travel inspiration, how to travel alone successfully, how to make a difference when you travel and how to adapt when you return home. My aim is to take you from feeling overwhelmed and unsure to feeling more equipped and empowered enough to do it!

So if your plan for 2025 is to solo travel either for the first time or to do it better next time round, this masterclass is for you.
