  • Back Relaxation with a Roller33:01

Dreaming of opening up your shoulders and improving your posture and breathing? Then our first class is perfect for you! We'll focus on rolling out your shoulder blades, lower back, and sides to improve your breathing, open up your chest, and alleviate back discomfort. Remember, some discomfort is normal due to muscle tension, but it should be manageable (think 5-6 out of 10). To reduce discomfort, you can wrap your roller in a towel, wear thicker clothing, or avoid the most tender areas initially.

  • Leg Relaxation with a Roller35:47

Relax your legs and pelvis with foam rolling: In this class, we'll massage your calves, hamstrings, and glutes, and perform exercises to improve leg and pelvic mobility.

  • Front of the Thigh and Open Shoulders with a Roller13:29

This short lesson can be done independently or as a supplement to Lesson 2. We will focus on one of the body's most tense areas: the quads. Be prepared for some discomfort in the first few sessions, as this area can be quite tight. However, after 2-3 sessions over 1-2 weeks, you'll feel much more comfortable. This exercise will also help alleviate back pain and improve posture.

  • Relaxing the arms, upper back, and neck with a roller.30:33

Requirements

  • Foam rolling is a simple and enjoyable way to relax and relieve muscle tension. Even if you're new to exercise, you can easily incorporate foam rolling into your routine. Just listen to your body and only go as deep as feels comfortable. If the roller feels too firm, try wrapping it in a towel. Over time, you'll notice that the exercises become easier and your body will feel more relaxed. Consult your doctor before starting any new exercise program.
