Description

The purpose of this program is to enable you as a leader to create an environment within your team where giving and receiving constructive feedback is considered the norm.

Feedback is information concerning the team’s behavior, attitude, relationships, and progress toward achieving objectives. In order for a team to be effective, it is imperative for a Leader to deliver feedback in a respectful and constructive manner.

Leaders that skillfully provide feedback help the team achieve its goals, build the team’s confidence and pride, and help them to succeed.

Global Leaders are challenged by differences across cultures which might diminish or distroy the intention of feedback.

Understanding the different aspects of your partner’s culture ensures that you are well equipped to prevent misunderstanding and communication disasters!  When we approach people from other cultural backgrounds, the situation is somewhat like that of a large ocean liner approaching an iceberg

Better avoid communicating on ‘autopilot’;

§Be aware of our communication and understand the customer’s behavior, don’t interpret it based on our expectations and evaluations

§Learn about our customer’s culture to understand their values and preferences

§Be Respectful and Tolerant and build inclusive conversations

§Avoid interpreting the message based on our own cultural values and framework

The Goal of this presentation is to introduce to you, make you understand and work with Asian cultural values and how feedback fits into the business context.

Also comprehend the values impact in business relations.
