Description

The Fundamentals of Engineering-Civil exam represents the initial step toward obtaining licensure as a Professional Engineer (P.E.). Intended for graduates and senior students holding an undergraduate engineering degree from an EAC/ABET-accredited program, the FE exam is a computer-based assessment available year-round at NCEES-approved testing centers.

To support exam preparation, the following practice exams have been developed for the Fundamentals of Engineering-Civil practice exam:

· Practice Test #1 (55 questions) (Knowledge Area #1 through #9)

· Practice Test #2 (55 questions) (Knowledge Area #10 through #14)

Students are guided through clear and comprehensive explanations of FE Civil Engineering exam topics using realistic problems. Methods and solutions are demonstrated with appropriate sketches and calculations.

It is recommended to first attempt 110 practice questions independently in order to accurately simulate exam conditions, utilizing the digital FE handbook and an NCEES-approved calculator. Each exam question should be completed within an average time of three minutes. Upon completion, reviewing detailed solutions is advised to facilitate understanding of errors, improve information retrieval from the FE handbook, and enhance overall exam performance.
