Learn how to perform eyebrow extensions, including required tools and products, adapt to natural brow growth, create a balanced shape and fullness, and earn a certificate.
Identify the essential tools for eyebrow extensions, from disinfecting solutions for tools and skin to straight and curved tweezers, flat-curve extensions, scissors, glue, a glue holder, and disposable pads.
Shape eyebrows using wax, tweeze, and trim after disinfecting skin and removing makeup; test wax temperature, stretch skin, and finish with post-wax lotion and light hair trimming.
Disinfect and degrease the skin and hairs so they adhere to natural hairs. Prepare glue, brow extensions, and curved and straight tweezers; assess growth to guide placement.
Apply eyebrow extensions by selecting lengths and attaching each hair to the natural brow with minimal glue bubbles. Align with growth direction, vary lengths along the brow, and camouflage gaps.
Adjust the second eyebrow for fullness, adapt hand and head position, and glue only to natural eyebrow hairs, mirroring the first eyebrow to avoid irritation.
Brush the hairs with a normal or silicone brush, trim longer hairs to refine shape, show the client the mirror to check result, and explain aftercare from the course PDF.
Showcases a natural-looking eyebrow extension with a well-shaped form the client loved. Advise avoiding touching and oils on the brows and schedule the refill.
In this course you will learn how to create fuller eyebrows with the help of eyebrow extensions. This treatment is in principle similar to eyelash extensions, however, a special technique is used and a lot of practice is required even if you already work with eyelash extensions.
The treatment involves placing a single faux hair on a single natural hair of your client. There must be some natural eyebrow hair present in order to be able to perform this treatment.
It is a good alternative if your client is scared of permanent makeup but still wants something longer lasting than the traditional makeup. It doesn't involve any pain and your client can perfectly relax and even sleep while you are working on the eyebrows. It will best suit those who want to have a fuller eyebrow look for a couple of weeks or for some special event such as a birthday party or wedding, a photoshoot.
