A Bit of History of the Eye of Horus

The Eye of Horus refers to the ancient Mystery School Teachings of Creational Geometry encoded by Isis and Osiris and left behind with their priests in Egypt.

These are the same souls who are the priests in Atlantis and other programs. They carry this genetically encoded information in their DNA - triggered now as we move back to 2012. (We are moving back to 2012 because we are here from the future). There is additional information kept hidden in the ancient mystery school teachings since the beginning of this reality/program. In arithmetic The Eye of Horus with fractions: In the Ancient Egyptian measurement system, the Eye of Horus was used a form of fractional notation, each of the parts of the eye representing a different fraction.

You may have heard of the Eye of Horus (Wedjat) in Ancient Egypt to mark fractions. How much reality is there in this story?

The Eye of Horus was smashed to pieces by Seth during his antagonistic fight against Horus to seize the right to the throne of Egypt. Later, the god of science and wisdom, Thoth, would put the pieces together and give Horus his whole eye back, hence the meaning of the word widget (Wedjat) “to be whole.” In addition, the Eye of Horus would become related to the moon’s phases (since Thoth is a lunar god), which takes different forms until reaching the final phase of the full moon. Finally, the eye is associated with the physical whole, and therefore health, and it makes sense that its parts, therefore, indicate fractions.

The division of the Eye of Horus into six parts, each of which corresponds to a hieroglyphic sign, has often been referred to in Egyptological and Egyptomaniac literature. The curious aspect is that these hieroglyphic signs are read as fractions, divided by two from left to right in the eye. Thus, the left half of the eye is 1/2, the pupil 1/4, the eyebrow 1/8, the right half 1/16, and the lower parts 1/32 and 1/64. The sum is 63/64, apparently leaving 1/64 for the chunk that Thoth was unable to compose.

Although romantic and tempting, this interpretation has been questioned on numerous occasions, mainly by one of the greatest scholars in the History of Science, Otto Neugebauer, and more recently by Jim Ritter.

The theory of the fractions of the Eye of Horus arises from speculation made about the presence of hieratic signs (of which only two were recognizable) in ulna (from the Latin “cubital” which means “elbow” or “forearm”. metrological, something like rules that use the mH, literally “forearm”, as a measurement system: approx. half a meter) votives.

When some of these signs appear in the Old Kingdom for the first time, they do not resemble the Eye of Horus’s parts. Could they arise from another origin and only later be identified with the parts of the Eye? Ritter also doubts that votive cubits indicate such a fractional system.

In any case, in the Old Kingdom, fractions were primarily indicated by the unit rA, represented by the hieroglyph for the mouth.

This does not mean that the Eye of Horus has been related to the division already since the Pyramid Texts, in which one side of the Eye is clearly used as a determinative of a word that indicates a part of the sky. The entire hieroglyph of the Eye expresses totality:

“Osiris Unis put the entire Eye of Horus on your face” (PT 79, 54 c)

We will have to wait for the publication of the Sharuna papyrus, dated in the Old Kingdom and with important mathematical data, to better understand the fractional system of the Egyptian third millennium. Meanwhile, we can only admire the metaphorical richness of the language and writing of ancient religious texts.
