I'm a Psychotherapist and Author of the book 'Do I Need to See a Therapist?'.
I've been a therapist since 1999 and currently run a private practice where I provide therapies such as CBT/ACT, EMDR, Brainspotting and Expressive writing for health.
I am a BABCP Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, an Accredited member of the National Counselling Society, a member of EMDR UK and a HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist.
As well as therapy I am a published writer and songwriter and have trained in creative writing, poetry, songwriting and journal therapy. I am very interested in the scientific explanations for expressive writing's health benefits and find it to be a very helpful method for those of us who find talking difficult.
In my therapy work I aim to integrate neurobiological findings with those of traditional medicines, Eastern philosophies and Quantum physics. I believe in curiosity, compassion and the magic within and around us.
