Description
Is the Bible relevant to issues and problems that we face in the 21st Century? Does knowing and living the teachings of the Bible really make a difference? Is God still at work in our times? Hi. I’m Dr. Michael Bogart. I have been teaching the Bible for more than 40 years. My earned doctorate in educational curriculum and instruction, combined with my own experiences in Israel in 2015 have enabled me to pass along some unique insights on the Bible in its native land. I’d like to personally invite you to be a part of this course where you will virtually experience 15 key sites in Israel that will make the Bible come alive in your life. The course includes high quality background videos that explain the on-site footage of the places we will visit.
During the course, I will not only explain the background and significance of the sites, but also how the events that occurred at these sites help make sense of our own times and our own lives. The perspectives on the tour grow out of many years in Christian ministry and as a part-time instructor in secular colleges and universities. I hope you’ll take advantage of this virtual tour that stops at places like Jericho, the Sea of Galilee, and Jerusalem. Who knows? You may be so intrigued that you will want to book a travel tour to Israel in the future. So come along as we visit some of the holiest and most interesting places in the world! Let's go!
