The course discusses the ways a person can experience God in their lives. Then it is up to the student to meditate (think about) how to apply the teachings. There are many ways to experience God in your life. It is believed that Shekinah (or Holy Spirit) is God's connection to every human. You can talk to God at anytime. God is present in every part of life because the Shekinah is involved in everything. This course explores how to develop the necessary skills to experience our God. Many people have said, and still do, that they experience God in their lives. However, many people say that they do not experience God. Perhaps the barrier to experiencing God is inside ourselves. We have to learn to quite our minds and voices so that the words of God can be experienced. You do not have to be religious in order to experience God. Also, the notion that you have to be a place of worship building to experience God is a myth. Ancient people believed that their god resided inside their borders. It was not until after the destruction of the Temple at Jerusalem in 70 CE did the understanding that God is every come to the Hebrew people. Overtime that belief spread throughout the world
