Jarrett Frazier is an owner and director at 1st Earth Media and Launchpad Studios Chicago. Ultimately, he spends a lot of time making other people look cool, which makes him feel cool too. Growing up on the west side of Chicago, he found his love for creating art and media. What started as a passion for expressing his ideas and stories eventually transformed into him becoming a creative vehicle for others to share their stories. After earning his B.A. in Film & no Animation at Columbia College Chicago, he took a leap of faith and started paving his path into the video & photo industry.
Since discovering that purpose, Jarrett has narrowed his aspirations to three things: creating, providing, and sharing. First, by creating cinematic content for brands, organizations, and influencers. Secondly, by providing professional spaces for creatives in photography, video, & film to shoot high-quality media. Finally, he loves sharing his knowledge and expertise in making multimedia content with other aspiring creatives so that they can chase their dream while making a living out of it too.
That drive for creating has bore many fruitful achievements along the way. His work in film & video has not only taken him across the country but also around the world to countries in Southeast Asia, Europe, and Central America. In 2020, he opened up his first private rental studio space, Launchpad Studios Chicago, for professionals working in photography, film, & video. Through various collaborations, he’s worked on film production sets for brands like McDonald's, Puma, Lyft, & Akira. Lastly, he’s begun to teach his creative skillset to the youth in his hometown neighborhood so that they can create stories through multimedia just as he has.
