Before making over $117,000 my first official year as an Event Planner with no ‘job’, no boss, no email list, no social media (except for Myspace), I volunteered with Fortune 500 Companies thinking it would lead to my “big break” and it only left me “broke.” I was an unpaid volunteer for 4 years and I was sick and tired of being broke and tired. Being broke and tired is a horrible combination!
