Explore how to use Etabs for structural analysis and design, from overview and menu navigation to modeling from scratch, evaluating results, and designing columns, shear walls, beams, slabs, and foundations.
Explore how to access resources in ETABS, user guide, analysis manual, and lateral loads manual, and understand design of steel, reinforced concrete, and composite members under earthquake and wind loads.
Create a new ETABS model using unit settings and design regulations, choose between uniform or custom grids and custom story data, and explore the plan and 3d view.
Explore the ETABS file tab to create or open models, save or export, import e2k and dxf files, export floors as separate models, and generate detailed reports.
Master the edit tools in Etabs to model 3D structures from templates, including Add to Model from Template and essential edits like undo, redo, cut, copy, paste.
Explore the view section in Etabs, manipulate 3-D views, plan and section views, and apply building view limits to inspect floors and coordinates with box selections.
Explore the define tab in ETABS to define material properties, section properties, and springs. Define diaphragms, load patterns, mass sources, spectrum and accelerograms, load cases and combinations, and groupings.
Create a reinforced concrete frame model in ETABS using the Draw tab, leveraging multiple views, snap options, and quick drawing methods for beams, columns, slabs, and shearwalls.
Learn to select structural members in ETABS using box and polygon selections, intersecting lines, and coordinate planes, and color elements by section properties to prepare precise property assignment.
Assign properties to joints, frames, and shells across tabs, apply loads and restraints, use auto mesh for slabs, and manage point, distributed, and temperature loads with global or local axes.
Assign live, wall, cladding, and facade loads; enable auto mesh and rigid diaphragms; then check the model, set loads to run, and view analysis results.
Explore the ETABS display tab: visualize undeformed and deformed shapes, control loads, color-coded visuals, view mode animations, and extract forces, stresses, and results from tables and plots.
Explore advanced design in etabs from a zero-to-expert level, learning shearwall, slab, and column design with section designer, pier and spandrel configurations, and strip-based vs fem methods.
Explore the ETABS options menu to set display units, tolerances, graphics preferences, colors, and boundary values; customize toolbars and use Model Explorer and plug-ins to streamline modeling and analysis.
Outline grid and floor setup, import DXF, define Eurocode concrete C40 and S420 reinforcement, model beams, columns, slabs, and shearwalls with foundation; apply design spectra, load cases, and earthquake combinations.
Run a 3D ETABS modal analysis with six dof per node, review base shear, modal periods, mass participation, storey drifts, soil stresses, and torsional irregularity before design.
Design columns, beams, shear walls, slabs, and foundations in Etabs according to Turkish earthquake regulation. Determine required reinforcement areas and ratios, evaluate punching controls, and visualize design results.
We recommend that you review our preview video that we prepared before registering. In this video, you can learn about our content.
ETABS, Computers and Structures, Inc. (CSI) is one of the most used structural analysis and design programs in the world.
By using the ETABS program, we can model our structures with different geometries, analyze them using the finite element method, and design with the help of the regulations defined in the program. We can examine the explanations and details of all calculation and design methods, together with their references, from within the program. One of the biggest advantages of using this program is that it has very detailed documents.
Our ETABS training has been prepared by the E2K team, which has completed undergraduate and graduate education at METU and ITU, and has more than 10 years of experience in structural design and earthquake engineering.
You can find more detailed information about our team at e2kengineering.
Our team, which has designed according to different regulations in local and international projects, offers practical solutions for the problems you may encounter.
When you complete our training, you will be able to design the building after creating a model from scratch and making the necessary analysis.
You can find all the necessary information in our training so that you can design according to a local or international regulation without being bound by any regulation.
For your questions, comments and suggestions, you can always reach us from our accounts or our website.
