Anna Knight is a seasoned professional in the financial industry, who is driven in life by her commitment to making an impactful, positive, different in the lives of anyone she encounters. As a holder, of a BA in Economics and professional designation of a Certified Financial Planner, Anna ‘s day to day is filled with building realistic, yet powerful game plans for her clients.
In her private Financial Planning practice, she not only assists her clients in building game plans towards their objectives but also with her team, assists them in implementing those plans.
In her private practice over the last 15 years, Anna has taught a number of long Retirement Planning Courses for the Toronto District School Board, Peel District School Board and shorter retirement, estate and tax planning classes for both large organization like the Government of Canada and many other small and mid-size corporation. She has been featured in a number of articles in the Globe and Mail and contributed to a Retirement by Design book over the years as well.
To implement the simple yet powerful financial plan, Anna has partnered with some industry leaders. On the investment side, Anna is an Investment Advisor with Keybase Financial Group Inc., an independent MFDA dealer with over 25-year client-focused history. For her client’s insurance needs, Anna is a broker with Allen Wong and Associates/Bridge Force Financial, one of the top insurance MGA’s in Canada. In case her clients need any lending, Anna is a full-service mortgage broker with Queen Mortgages. Through Queen Mortgages, Anna has access to any and all lenders from tradition banks, to credit unions and private lenders.
Lastly, Anna’s commitment to positive impact continues inside her firm, Simplicity Financial which donates part of their profits annually to charity and is engaged in pro-bono workshops and work with different organizations in the GTA. In the past, those contributions supported Princess Margaret Hospital, The Covenant House, The C.C.C.O. , Interim Place, to name a few. Over the next 12 months, Anna and her team are also looking to set up a Pro-bono drop in Financial Counselling division, to give anyone access to quality financial advice.
