Adrian Deegan has 30 years of experience in sales, 8 years in London and 22 years in the UAE focusing on the development of the hotel industry in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Bahrain with several hotel chains.
Playing an integral role in growing the destination, Adrian worked closely with Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi over the years since its birth in 2004. He also contributed his time and experience representing all hotels in Abu Dhabi on its Industry Advisory Panel.
Prior to moving to Abu Dhabi in 1997, Adrian spent 8 years working with London hotels.
Today, with his family, he has based himself back in the UK continuing his ambition to develop and train people to achieve their best and reach their goals along with supporting the hotels on the sales front.
Adrian is a true professional within the hotel industry and has a reputed track record. His management style and leadership skills has earned him the respect of all colleagues throughout his career.
Coming from Ireland, where he graduated in Business, Adrian worked in London with Hilton and Radisson Blu. He transferred with Radisson Blu to Abu Dhabi in 1997 where he also worked with Sheraton and Rotana.
Adrian’s last position was the demanding role of Corporate Director of Global Sales with Rotana selling 70 properties in 14 countries. During this 4 year period, he was responsible for managing 13 Global Sales Offices, out of which 5 of them were in the UK and across Europe.
Over an exciting 17 year span with Rotana, Adrian was instrumental to the company’s growth from a portfolio of 7 hotels to 70 hotels.
Being passionate, Adrian dedicates himself to his responsibilities. He is enthusiastic, entirely reliable, conscientious and committed to ensuring his students receive the best training and coaching. Adrian is self driven and result orientated which is very quickly seen by students. Adrian becomes a member of the team very easily and tactfully demonstrates his leadership skills immediately and takes on each responsibility confidently with a strong work ethic.
