Description

This course delves into the fundamentals of Adobe Photoshop CC, along with some of its integration features with Illustrator and After Effects. Students will go through the process from scratch learning key terminology and industry-standard techniques. Students will be challenged by understanding the process of creating an art-board with several layers, working within a pixel-based software, exploring the various tools and effects present in the program, and finally, exporting and saving. They will explore the entire interface and learn all the tools provided there. In just over an hour, students will also be introduced to liquefying, image adjustments, lighting effects, and the other features present in Photoshop. They will also have gained a solid grasp of the formal devices discussed in the course. Whether you're a beginner familiar with certain aspects about Photoshop, or a complete newbie and haven't touched the program, the course is designed to get you up to speed and prep you for future advanced courses. Aside from these endeavors, he works as a freelance light-designer, organizer, coordinator, consultant and technical director for performing arts and events, such as the "Next Festival"for short-films and performances, and the annual "Emigrants Festival" in Dhour Chouier.

A teacher of Drama, Film Studies and IB Theatre in Brummana High School from 2015 till 2018, and an instructor of Film, TV, Theatre and Public Speaking at the Lebanese American University since 2015, he teaches courses such as Art of Film, Visual Effects, Filmmaking Principles, Theatre in Performance and Stage Production.
