Count 11–19 by adding ten; 11 is ju ichi and 18 is ju hachi. Practice with Yuki and note that 4, 7, 9 have readings, using yon, nana, and Q.
Learn to count from twenty to ninety-nine in Japanese using the same tens-based addition method. Then practice forming numbers like twenty-one, thirty-seven, and sixty-eight with pronunciation cues.
Learn a practical phrase for asking bus destinations in Japan, using 'kono basu' for this bus, and how to say does this bus go to Kyoto Station or Shibuya Station.
Learn essential travel health and lost-item vocabulary, including illness, injuries, medicine, doctor visits, hospital, ambulance, and items like wallet and suitcase.
Practice how to say different body parts in Japanese, using repetition after Yuki; learn when you might need them for health issues or injury, and preview phrases for doctor visits.

Your instructors are Ashley and Yuki. Ashley has studied Japanese and Japanese culture for a total of 10 years. She lived in Japan for 3 years with her husband Yuki who is a native Japanese speaker from Japan.
Ashley handles the English explanations while Yuki will be pronouncing most of the Japanese vocabulary and phrases so you can hear exactly how a native Japanese speaker would pronounce them!
