Description

The first section of the course covers the stages involved in the process of writing an essay, including but not limited to analyzing topics, planning responses, and writing paragraphs. All aspects of writing a standard 5-paragraph essay are covered, with particular emphasis on paragraph structure. The second section provides language input to help you improve your vocabulary (through the use of stronger verbs), sentence connections (through cohesive devises and referencing) and punctuation. If you feel that your language skills are adequate, you are more than welcome to skip the second section and mostly focus on section 1. At the end of the course, there is an assignment that will take you 8 days to complete. Once you have completed the assignment, submit your essays and wait for feedback.

To make the most of this course, it is best that you watch each lesson more than once and pause when needed. Remember that becoming a proficient writer takes extensive practice, dedication and time. Be sure to read about a wide range of topics as much as possible to become faster at generating ideas, and do not show off by using big vocabulary words. Be concise and communicate your ideas by developing them with as much detail as possible. The more you read, the better you can write.

Who this course is for:
