This course follows chapter by chapter (along with added insight) from the book titled ' Narcissism; The Bad Boy Image'. Written by author and life coach Shannon Gilmour, this course is designed to help bring attention and awareness to a growing toxic epidemic within society that has victimized men, women and children from all over the world. Known as Narcissistic personality disorder, or NPD, this course endeavors to help educate the student into the hidden aspects of narcissism that are not often talked about.
This study offers clinical and biblical non denominational assertions to help the student become more aware and alert, so that healthy lifestyle practicums can be assured in a way that avoids trauma through detecting the often over looked tells and red flags that identify an individual who suffers from maladaptive behavior called narcissism. By identifying key specific traits that coincide with narcissism, individuals will be able to successfully inhibit the absorption of toxic emotional intrusions that are the cause of symptoms of abuse.
This study is not an exhaustive study, but one that offers practical learning outcomes i layman's terms to promote awareness as well as a proactive approach to healing and avoidance through self discovery and self mastery.
