Equitable Unconscious Bias

This course teaches the basics of understanding equitable unconscious bias and how it affects hiring practices and equity in the workplace.

The training will cover the definitions of concepts that relate to equitable unconscious bias. It will provide common examples of equitable unconscious bias. The course shows students how to analyze their own beliefs to uncover their individual biases. The training will also show how to determine if a bias is positive or negative.

Students will learn to use the above methods to identify patterns and practices which could indicate the presence of unconscious bias. The course details how to eliminate these biases from the organization. This course is a key component of any Diversity Equality Inclusion (DEI) program.

The training will cover all the required elements outlined in Federal and State OSHA standards to ensure that your training meets or exceeds the minimum required training. If your training has a time requirement, the content of the training has been designed to meet that requirement.
