Description

This course is designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to the field of clinical research. Participants will learn about the key concepts and principles of clinical trials, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP), clinical trial design, study conduct, data management, and regulatory compliance. The course will also cover practical skills in study coordination, site management, data analysis, and report writing.

Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe the purpose and process of clinical research and clinical trials.

  2. Explain the principles of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory compliance.

  3. Design a clinical trial protocol and implement a study according to the protocol.

  4. Manage clinical trial sites and coordinate study activities.

  5. Analyze and interpret clinical trial data.

  6. Write clear and concise study reports.

  7. Apply ethical and legal considerations in clinical research.

Format:

The course will be delivered through a combination of videos & articles.

Assessment:

Participants will be evaluated through an objective-question exam. Participants will receive a certificate of completion upon finishing the course and successfully passing the exam.

Students have an opportunity for a 150 hours paid internship along with international industry certification to further enhance their skills and gain hands-on experience in the field. Students who are interested in internships can email us with their course certificates.


Prerequisites:

There are no specific prerequisites for this course. However, a background in the health sciences or a related field is desirable.
