Description

This course takes you through the fundamentals of the English Language Speaking Techniques.

The course shows the importance of rising and falling intonation, word stress and sentence stress. People who already speak English can benefit from this course by correcting the fossilized pronunciation and speaking mistakes that are very commonly seen in Indian English.

Erratic pronunciation and intonation can make it very difficult to be understood by other people who aren't accustomed to Indian accent.  Wrong intonation and flat intonation can completely change the mood of the conversation.

Not being familiar with native intonation can be a hurdle in listening and understanding native speakers too. So correcting the intonation and sentence stress will bring double the benefit - You'll improve your Speaking skill as well as your Listening skill.

To have a comprehensive communication it is very important to speak clearly with the right intonation, and at the same time maintaining the correct pitch. When spoken very quietly, which can be very common as Indian people do have a soft low voice, one is not audible to their listener and may come across as mumbling.

It can also come across as - the speaker is not confident in speaking English.

To overcome all these issues, it is very important to train over and over. Drilling and training will strengthen your speech muscles and help you speak more fluently without worrying too much.

We hope this course helps you correct the small mistakes and make you speak more like native speakers.
