- This course is for the students with weak English grammar background. We build them from scratch.
Description
This detailed course of English grammar (47 lectures ) is especially designed for the beginners in India and Pakistan. Concepts are explained in the simplest and step-by-step manner so that even the slow learners can learn fast. This will make a foundation of English grammar even for those who think they are far from it.
The Course contents
Part one: English Parts of Speech (12 lectures) noun, pronoun, verb, adjective, adverb, prepositions, articles, conjunctions and interjections.
Part two: English tenses (14 lectures) present, past and future tenses (Indefinite, continuous, perfect, perfect continuous) and the concept of the use of “since” and “for”.
Part three: English active and passive voice (07 lectures) how to convert a sentence into passive voice like; simple, interrogative, imperative sentences and sentences with modal operators. This section carries two practice sessions at the end.
Part four: English direct and indirect narrations (05 lectures) how to convert sentences into indirect narrations like simple, interrogative, imperative, exclamatory and universal truth sentences.
Part five: Some additional concepts of grammar (5 lectures) kernel clauses, object oriented types of sentences, phrases, inflection and derivation, verb, tense, aspect and copulative auxiliaries.
Additional part six: Understanding English pronunciation (05 lectures) we are offering additional five lectures on English pronunciation considering accurate pronunciation as a big problem in Pakistan and India. I have explained here the basic and important concepts of English pronunciation like, International phonetic alphabets (IPAs), Difference and detailed study of vowel and consonant sounds like; sounds’ distinctive features, vocal tract, short vowels, long vowels, diphthongs and the concept of stressed and unstressed syllables.

Instructor
I am serving as Assistant Professor of English in Higher Education Department for the last 15 years. I have been more concerned about delivering the concepts, however complex ones, in simplest possible way. My usual focus are the slow learners, that’s why you will find my lectures very simple and easy-to-understand even for the complex concepts.
