Energy Modelling with eQuest (Module 7)

The Module is about Life cycle cost with sample Project Example. It is a method of evaluating the total cost of the building or building system over its entire lifespan that consider all cost from initial design to construction to demolition of building.

Lecture 1 : This lecture is based on theoretical knowledge about Life cycle cost. It's describes the basics of LCC, its methodology as well as different aspects.

Lecture 2 : This lecture is about platform / software used to perform LCC analysis. Further more, the types of LCC is mentioned in the Lecture for preparing the Model according to various needs.

Lecture 3 : This lecture is about LLC on eQuest Software. Generally, in eQuest we can perform LLC through Energy Efficiency Measure wizard by Generating the required simulation process data as per the Project Model.

Lecture 4 : This lecture is about Results of LLC provided by eQuest. eQuest provide the result in 3 particular section as LCC summary, Incremental LCC savings & cumulative LCC savings. Based on the result, eQuest provides Graphical results for better understanding.

Lecture 5, 6, 7 & 8 : This lecture provides a hands on practice to perform LLC by Demo Project creation in DD wizard to Simulation process of LCC.

The course is useful to Architects and Engineers who wish to perform Energy Modelling of Building. Total 10 module course gives hand on practice to create the building, to apply energy efficiency measure and to predict the building performance before it is made. It is a consolidated course to understand Energy Modelling from scratch and to be expert in the same. All modules have explanation videos about What is energy modelling followed by details of eQuest software. While learning you may practice on your PC or laptop to understand the procedure and get on hand training.
