Description

Women's writing in research is an interdisciplinary academic area that explores the contributions, influences, and experiences of women in society. Research papers by women authors for women often address issues that concern the pain of writing for the feminist idea of "sisterhood." I am thrilled to bring this course to you to take you on a journey from women's presence in research writing, women's struggles with research methods, women's themes for academic writing to literary texts, content analysis, and publication.

Women are explaining their powers of reason in particular and the path of virtue in research paradigm. Some old stereotypical attitudes and differences are fading now because of the increasing interest of women in research and planning out their research methods to produce unbiased evaluation of women.

This course is not dealing with gender discrimination in specific terms but it is more focussed on helping women scholars and researchers to deal with the research writing as part of the disciplinary discourse. Vocabulary, writing style, tone, and themes are more likely to introduce the feminist motives in research. This course will offer strategies to conduct a successful research on representation of women in scientific terms, limiting the repetition of old arguments, biases, and discrimination.

Who this course is for:

  • Intermediate learners who understand the role of being a woman researcher.
