We rarely learn in school how to deal with the emotional side of the brain, our feelings. While most people let their emotions run wild, we can learn to control them, instead of being controlled by them.
Your feelings are impacted by the energy behind them. Learn about how much energy is behind your emotions. Some emotions are dominant and others are passive or in the background. Your emotions move fast.
Constructive emotions help us to get where we want to go. Negative emotions are counter-productive, but in certain situations are a part of life. Recognize them and manage them as effectively as possible.
How to keep how to keep your brain healthy. Nurturing your brain keeps it going properly.
It is important to spend time thinking about how we are feeling. Are we getting what we want or running into major challenges? We want to make our emotions our friends.
MIndfulness is simply about taking the time and effort to be more aware of what is happening around you. It makes you far more productive and happier.
Create systems that turn into routines and patterns, which are more powerful than relying on willpower. Set yourself up for success by putting systems in place that support your goals. A little improvement on a daily basis works far superior than trying to leapfrog from where you are to where you want to be.
Develop the discipline to make your mind the slave, not the master. We focus on that consciousness. To create that focus, we need to know about the subconscious and unconscious minds. We get patterns of emotions, which end up in the subconscious and unconscious. Is 75% of your self talk negative?
We are giving you questions to help you be more self aware in more detail. The more detail, the more you will heighten your self awareness.
Being aware and cultivating a connection with yourself, will bring you many dividends in the future.
Are you creating failure? Are you cultivate the right things to enjoy the journey.
Are you in the 'Zone'? What engage you in life? Are your relationships meaningful and fun? They support long life and happiness.
When we spend our time on negative thoughts, we choose to be unhappy. We are about as happy as we choose to be.
Internally and externally, positive thinking energizes you.
Have a great dream! Be kind, compassionate, take care of yourself, appreciative and try new things and learn.
In this section, we will be exploring Authenticity and living your own dream instead of someone else's dream.
Do you think you can take care of others without taking care of yourself?
Can you celebrate your successes? Do you make comparisons? These are deadly in validation, as there is always someone better and someone worse.
Do you use SWAT Analysis? If you are not self aware, you can not identify your strengths. It is an effective tool.
Negative self talk in counter productive. There are many different types of intelligence. We can adapt our personality to various situations. We have enduring aspects and fast changing aspects to our personalities.
There are good reasons for negative emotions, but in today's world they do not serve us as much as they did thousands of years ago. Mastering our fears, recognizes them. Once they create immobility, become unproductive, they need to be managed in a different way.
Authenticity is easy to manage once you have a handle on it. Mindfullness is the key to tapping into your feeling?
In this section, we focus on Confidence, Self-Esteem and Assertiveness.
What creates a sustainable level of self confidence and self worth? How can we deal with disappointment? Do you know why you behave as you do?
Do you lack confidence? Are you over confident? Neither are optimal.
These come from positive, realistic expectations. Do you want to create higher levels of excellence?
Fake it until you make can be true, but there are better ways. Create a legitimate sense of self worth.

This course deals with Self Awareness and Emotional Intelligence
It is the first of four certification courses, which can be done in any order.

Emotional Intelligence:A set of emotional, social and relational skills that guides the way we perceive, understand and express ourselves; connect with others; manage interpersonal exchange; cope with challenges; and apply emotional information in an effective, meaningful way.
Research indicates that emotional intelligence can be learned and be measurable differences directly associated with professional and personal success. Furthermore, it may be responsible for up to 80% of the success we experience in life.
The basic areas of emotional intelligence are self-awareness, self-management; empathy/social awareness and relationship management.
EIQ Self-Awareness
Self-awareness reflects understanding, personal acceptance & an overall understanding of personal psychology. Self-awareness is foundational to social awareness & self-management.
