Welcome to Eliminate Destructive Debt Course!
If you are here, chances are you are struggling with debt and you want it gone. I understand as I was there once. Years ago, I was well over $80,000 in debt, all bad! Then I found a way to eliminate it completely and a few years later, I have found myself financially independent.
While this course will not teach you how to become financially independent, it will help you reduce and potentially eliminate your bad debt (all debt that you want gone).
In this course, you will learn:
Different types of debt
5 step process to eliminate it
How credit score works and how to improve it
What different types of student loans exist
How to calculate your student loan principal
Why your debt is going up, as oppose to down, even if you have been paying it
How to calculate what you should be paying to eliminate your student loan
Where to find money to pay your debt off even faster
If you have debt that is not serving you, that is bleeding you dry and don't know where to go or how to solve it, get this course. In a few short lessons it will help you get rid of it completely (but only if you do the work).
- Individuals struggling with debt
- College graduates with student loans
- Parents of students who are about to attend college
Eliminate Destructive Debt Course is a portion of the Money EMT Course, but it stands on it's own.
Money EMT Course (the full online course), focuses on 3 steps:
Eliminate Your Destructive Debt
Manage Your Money
Transcend Financial Stress
Eliminate Destructive Debt portion of the course is sold separately and it serves one purpose, to help you reduce and potentially eliminate all of your debt. I say potentially because if you don't do the work and don't take action, you will not benefit, even though you will be better informed. So to be successful, please take notes and action.
In this lesson, you will learn:
Difference between destructive and constructive debt
What destructive debt it
Overview of the 5-step process
How to understand exactly what you owe, who you owe the money to, minimum monthly payment, and interest rate you are being charged
What you spend our money on each month
How to decide which debt to pay off first
Two methodologies to debt elimination
How to restructure your money to pay your debt off faster
With your list of whom you owe money and how much you owe and your newly found funds to pay it off, we dive deeper into how to actually pay off your debt.
In this module, you will learn:
How to reduce your principle and why
How to structure your debts and pay them in a way to reduce and eliminate them
We go into some math, but it's easy and you can use a calculator
Why it is important to focus on one debt only to achieve success
How to gain momentum to keep going
So, watch the video, take notes, and do the work.
In the first two modules, you learned the 5-step process of how to eliminate your debt. Please make sure you apply what you have learned as action is the only way to make this happen for you.
In this lesson, we will focus on credit score. You will learn:
Skills and ideas of how to be more disciplined with your money
Should you cut your credit cards
Should you close your accounts
How is credit score calculated
What impacts your credit score
Make sure you are still keeping up with module 2 work. Make timely payments, follow the process, and understand better what you should or should not be doing.
Student loan debt is $1.4 Trillion problem. This is the reason why I am including it in this course.
If you are a college student, this is incredibly important as you are likely borrowing money for school. If you are about to be a college student or a parent of a college student, knowing this information before you borrow can save you a lot of headaches and tens of thousands of dollars.
If, however, you have gone to school, have student loan debt and have been struggling with it for a while, this module is crucially important for you. Watch it as many times as necessary to understand what is happening and why.
There is some simple math (it looks scary when you first look at it), but I will give you the formula and the key and all you have to do is plug in the numbers.
In this lesson, you will:
Understand different loan types
Grasp how each of them works
Have a better understanding of why you should not borrow or borrow as little as possible
Know where the problem lies with many people not being able to pay it off
Now that you understand student loans and how they work, let's jump into how do you calculate your student loan payment.
In today's lesson, you will learn:
How to break down the formula of how to calculate your loan payment
How to calculate what your monthly payment needs to be
How to calculate what the interest payment needs to be
A deeper understanding of why your loan principal has been going up
How to structure your payment to reduce and eliminate your loan
Whether you should refinance and how to know if it's a good idea
What to do if you are still in school
Ideas of how to generate additional income (this can be done while still in school as well as for those that are done with school)
